As Gunnar, Faythe, Meg and Kathryn were never actually in game, their characters will just be dropped.

Kaya, Finn, Rachel and Lilly will soon be killed in an upcoming plot (that I still have to decide) so until then, they are still living and working, just not played. When the plot happens you're welcome to react to it.

Also as I got no response on my two other plot options, I will repeat them and try again:

As Elle and Katherine are both highly susceptible to getting bored and they are both likely to try to fix it, I could have either of them do one of the following:

Elle could cause a city-wide blackout for some amount of time. In this case, all laptops would be fully charged beforehand just so that people can use the network service, but all lights, electrical appliances and whatever would be out for the duration.

Katherine could cause a blizzard, causing everyone to be trapped in the apartment building for some amount of time.

I'm also open to other ideas at any time and I encourage you to use the plot drop box for anything you might come up with.

This is just to let people know that we are adding Amber as a mod in place of Dhi.

Also, in light of IJ being down all day yesterday and part of today, I am adding a day to the activity check. Instead of being closed tomorrow, it will be closed after Friday. Remember if you miss two in a row, you are removed.

Also since I forgot the plot ideas on the last post, I'm going to go ahead and put them here. (I told you my brain was frozen!)

I'm freezing and pretty sure my brain is actually frozen so my first question is kinda lame.

This check-in is exactly one month from opening, but they won't all be at the same time. So please don't just check back on the 30th of each month and ignore the game in the meantime.

2. As the holidays are winding down, I'm hoping that people (myself included) will start to be more active. I have to ideas for game-wide plots based on my characters abilities, those will be listed below and I would like votes on which you would prefer for our first plot. And as always if you have any ideas for plots at all, please post them in the plot drop box.
3. Advertising. As my advertising person has dropped, I will need someone else to do advertising. I'm trying really hard not to take on everything myself but with the loss of a helper and a mod it's difficult.
4. That being said, any help, even if it's not advertising, would be appreciated.

Hi, this is Dhi, I hate to say this but I’m just so terribly overwhelmed at home and with game stuff that I’m actually dropping all my games except the ones I run, and my PSLs.

I really loved playing in all these games, I loved my ships and all the friends I made IC and OOC, feel free to hit me up on AIM (gleestud) or email me (betweenthestars at gmail dot com). If anyone wouldn’t mind a slow replier I can always do a new PSL. I’d go on hiatus if I thought that it would work, but honestly I can’t not look at games and to take a proper hiatus I would really hold a lot of people back.

I wanted to give an apology for not being around lately The leading up to Christmas part has had me pretty much exhausted, but I'm hoping that things will start to slow tomorrow, or at least in the near future.

I'll also be putting up a check-in post on the 30th. I won't always give warnings for these but since it will be the first one I thought I'd give a heads up. You'll have one week to respond.

Hey y'all!

My name is Crystal and I know a few of y'all from other games - particularly Misha, because she's the one who told me about this one! I bring in Jo Harvelle who is from season 5 of Supernatural. Her decision is that she did sleep with Dean the night before Meg's attack with the hellhounds, and so the next day she was with him when they attacked, and ended up not dying! However, she was caught in the blast in the hardware store that they all set up, and she's been in a coma for a while - minus ID, so her mom and everyone else has thought she's been dead all this time. She woke just before showing up here, and is very confused!

I look forward to playing and plotting with y'all!

Also a little info so Cosette's next entry doesn't confuse people: the things the character has on them that they brought from canon, they have from their canon timeline, not their AU one. So when Cosette is confused because her wand that she carries everywhere is missing, it's because in her canon timeline she locked that (and everything else magical/wedding related) away in her attic. Even though she remembers still using magic. Sirius won't have his wand either since in his canon timeline he was in Azkaban.

If it helps, you can always make a list of what your characters have, like add it to your app or whatever. This is not necessary, it's just a good point of reference for anyone as anal as I am (which means that yes, I will be).

Sup dudes? I'm Kassi, one of your co-mods here, and I've got two pups that I'm bringing into the midst. Only one is coming in right now, as I'm currently in the middle of re-reading the others source media so I can figure out exactly how her decision is going to affect her life.

The first is this idiot here, Mr. Sirius Black. Sirius' decision was to become the Potter's secret keeper, therefore Peter didn't betray them, Sirius didn't go to prison, the Potter's didn't die, and all was happy! Well. Sort of. Maybe happy wasn't the proper word for it. I think that "better" might be right. Even then, it's kind of iffy since h ewas captured and tortured for information on the Potter's. But he didn't tell 'em shit, yo.

Sirius got to marry his girl, Cosette, and they have a five year old daughter. He's a little grumpier, but still the fun-loving, bundle of dork that is Sirius.

Secondly, I have Faythe Sanders, animaliam. She's a "shifter" or "werecat" also meaning she can change into a panther-like-cat whenever she wants! She's a bit of a rebel, and kind of a bitch, but she's fun. Really. I'll get more on her when I get around to finishing her app (i'm re-reading the series and it's taking FOREVER)

Misha here, with Dean Winchester from Supernatural. Dean's decision is that he never gave up looking for Sam, which means he didn't stick it out with Lisa and Ben, and has been on his own since Sam jumped in the pit. I would love, love, love to see a Sammy show up. But, back to me.

I'm a teacher, and I'm currently on my lunch break. I have no online access during the day, save my lunch break which is generally noon-noon: thirty. Most of my RP time is at night, from about 7-11pm, EST. Weekends and school holidays vary greatly, but I tend to stay up much later.

Dean is caught somewhere between S5 and S6, hasn't been reunited with Sam, obviously. He's a bit rough around the edges and as likelt to punch someone as have a drink with them. As for me, I have to get back to work. I can be found on AIM under CeruleanInzanity later this evening, and most evenings too!

Can't wait to get Dean started!

Hey everyone, and welcome to the game. All of you already know me to an extent, some better than others, but here's my official intro: I'm Lissa and I'm the Head Mod and Concept/Resources Mod. And now for my painfully long list of characters, so bear with me.

I'm starting out with the six of mine who already have their apps done then at the end I will be introducing my two who don't and are not yet in game. I went ahead and gave them both housing assignments for when I do finish their apps (hopefully soon), but for the time being we will say their roommates are living alone.

Also, yes, everyone has a character roomed with one of mine since my characters are half the game.

This is the one week before opening warning/extra information post.

* As I said before (or I think I did) we will be opening at midnight Eastern time on Monday, November 29th (leading into Tuesday the 30th). If I am around as well as enough of the members, there will be an aim chat around an hour or two before opening. Or however long.

* Characters will arrive, be given their housing assignments and immediately encouraged to find jobs. You have already assigned your job to your characters and it is up to you how long it takes to get the job you chose. Play with it, though. Have them go a few places to apply, have them interview with the owner(s). They will also have laptops, where they can post to the online journals. The entire city has wifi, so you can post from anywhere.

* I will be putting a plot drop box up in the mod journal sometime soon and I encourage you to use it. Don't limit your ideas to just what your characters can do, anything you come up with, please contribute. If there are no characters in game that can make it happen, the doctor can. All we know about him is that he's a psychologist, but if he can bring people out of their fandoms and change one life decision, he can do other things too. Plus I have Katherine and Elle for any plot stuff that they can pull off. In that post, you will also be able to volunteer your characters for plots--just let us know their name, what they can do (abilities, etc) and if their means would be for good or evil (or just for their own personal enjoyment).

* Keep in mind that your characters are changeable as the game progresses. Game canon is practically non-existent. Just as your characters have had things change about them upon arrival, if someone else in their fandom joins with a decision that would have effected them, they will change with no memory of how it was before (say Lilly comes in after having broken up with Logan, but maybe Logan didn't kiss Yolanda and they would still be together because of it, Lilly would go from thinking she was single to knowing she and Logan have been together all along. Yes, I know it's confusing. However, other characters in the game will recall anything she told them. So if she mentioned her cheating boyfriend then he comes in having not cheated, people not from the Veronica Mars fandom would recall that mention.

* There will be character deaths and some darker plots. Any dark plots will be by volunteer only. Character deaths will be dropped characters (they must die before they can be picked up again) and once again, when they come back in they will have no memory of being here, but other people will.

* Respond to this post and any other mod posts. Replies are required within a week's time, or you will receive a warning. I really don't want this to be a reason you get removed from the game, so please try to keep on it. Unless you have something to contribute or specific requests are made, all you need to do is post saying you've read it. so it doesn't take that long and it lets me know that what we the mods have posted has been read and understood. And if you do have any questions, please let us know.

* For reference, while Utopia's exact location is unknown, we will be using LA for weather and current events and other stuff. Unless there is a plot involving the weather to make it different from LA's.

This may be edited at any time if I have forgotten anything. So you might want to check back.

Anyway, have fun, feel free to introduce yourselves and begin plotting.

Okay so, I really want to open this game, but as it stands right now, we have three mods and five players, so I would like to get some more players to not seem so mod-stacked by the time we open. We do have several holds, but whether or not they will actually apply remains to be seen, so if you have any friends who might be interested, please send them our way!

I might go ahead and pick an opening date in a couple of weeks even if we don't get more players because I don't want those of you who are already in here to lose interest either.
